So I got the call Monday morning to head to AZ for a couple demos and a video premier with KKSM, Reliance and Siren. Instead of flying I thought a drive might be a little more fun, give me a chance to skate some stuff I haven’t in a long time, take some photos, and enjoy the scenery. My first stop was at The Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. Quite an amazing place to say the least.

A little while later I saw some fun stuff on the side of the road and decided to pull over and shoot a few photos of random things, like this log.

Then I made it to the Trinidad Skatepark.

Nobody was there and I got to have my own private sesh on this huge, gnarley, tranny park.

I didn’t even shoot any photos of the top beginner section and these photos still barely do the park and it’s size justice. What a blessing to get to carve around this beast for a while with nobody to accidentally slam into going mach 10.

Before the sun got too far down I figured I’d pull over and grab at least one last photo. This is a 2 second exposure, self timed, on the side of the interstate. Watch out for the trucks. After this I proceeded to drive the remaining 7 hours in the dark and have now found myself back in the desert. Great trip. Soon enough I’ve gotta go back, I’ll try and make some different stops for that trip, with more fun random photos and places.
