While in Arizona I was asked to paint a mural to be given as a Christmas gift to a young boy who’s super psyched on all the parts of KKSM. The only issue was that I had 3 days left before I had to leave and they needed it on canvas so it could be transportable if they move… So within my 3 day time frame I purchased all the supplies, built and stretched both canvases, and painted this 154″ x 62″ 2 piece mural (that’s about 13ft wide and a little over 5ft tall for those who don’t wanna do the math). It was a challenge and quite tiring, but it’s done. Then I slept an hour and 20 minutes and hopped in the car to drive 16 hrs back to CO.

Here’s a quick thrown together view of what it looked like about 2 hrs into my drive. Sunrise plus the moons is still out in Northern AZ.

And then the sun setting at a truck stop in Southern CO. It’s funny cause the semi has a AZ plate so it seems like I drove all day and didn’t get anywhere. Sunrise to sunset plus some. It’s been a crazy few days.
