Nerdy Is Back

Good friend, and local genius, David Beveridge needed branding pieces for his online presence Nerdy is Back. He’s a clever man, with lots of great advice, and an amazingly fine writing talent. David appreciates the simple things, and knows the power of being memorable, so when creating his branding I kept this at the forefront of the process. His logo consists of 3 circles, intertwined, and broken in one spot, creating a very iconic image that not only is accepted as “nerdy” but represents his passion and enthusiasm for the people known for their higher intellect. The typography utilizes a classic font with some simple rearrangement influenced by the text itself. Overall, it’s a very simple and condensed representation of the mass amounts of knowledge, advise, and insightful pieces that his online presence contains, which is good because all that robust content can use a nice simple counterpart.
