I just finished up this tee design for the annual Mosaic art show in Greeley called REACH. Every year artists come together and donate pieces to help raise money for charities around the world. This years charity is Children of Peace.
reach_art_blog
This shirt will be available for pre-order at the event and then online until May 1st, 2009. So please pick one up here. Order one for you and a couple more for your friends! All the proceeds are going straight to this charity so lets help raise these kids some serious money and truly save some lives! Tell everyone you know, blast this shirt all over the place and lets see what we can do. How many do you think we can sell?

Blacklist opened yesterday to bring a new reality to the Greeley skateboard and snowboard scene. The locals waited in quite the line to be the first into the shop.
kids_camping
The real committed ones even camped out in the cold Colorado night just to get in and get their hands on some limited edition pieces as well as the free deck, shirt, beanie and other giveaways.
nate_signing
Nate added a nice touch to all the super limited shop decks that were being given as gifts to those really committed kids by signing and dating each one.
statement_decks
We ran a full series of 9 different shop decks based off the statements that we had posted up on the window during construction. The display also included full stories for each of the graphics to explain their meaning and local ties.
shoewall
The shoe wall turned out epic, with lots of limited edition shoes, a T.V. in the middle, and a featured window for the best of the best up top. It’s hard for me not to just buy out all the 10.5′s for myself!

clothing_display
There’s so much more to the shop than what my few photos show, so come down and browse, get your hands on some limited stuff that you won’t find anywhere close, and just hang out for a while. This should be quite the cultural movement for Greeley and the skate and snow community. Are you excited for it?

Fly away on a rainy day… B Wall from Rainy Day Apparel hooked me up big time the other day with a monster package of goodies. I’m super psyched on a lot of the new graphics he has coming out for his summer 09 line, and am honored to be working on the Rainy Day website . If you didn’t know, now you know, and be happy you’re in the know because this stuff is rad and is gonna blow up quick. If you somehow get the opportunity get your hands on one of these tees, snag it up fast because with a simple but very dope style, and clever humor mixed in, this brand is going to be hot hot hot come summer 09.

Yetti 4 Shreddy

I just finished up and took in my submission for Design the Modern Board 2009. This years event is being put on by Design Within Reach and K2 Snowboards in both the Denver and Seattle locations. The event and all it’s proceeds are to help SOS, a great organization that uses snowboarding to teach positive life skills. The event is this Friday at the Design Within Reach Studio in Cherry Creek and I would love to see everyone there! You’ll be able to enjoy fresh beats from One Productions, drinks from Red Bull and Vodka Fourteen and a tasty menu from Wahoo’s Fish Tacos! Plus the winners are decided by the guests, so you can have a great time and help decide which awesome board to get printed. This design has a lot of details and textures so here is a BIG version for you to check out too. Hope to see you there!

I was in San Francisco and the East Bay area for this last week visiting my girlfriends family and friends in and and around the city. Lucky for me I was able to make it to the Post street location of The Hundreds for their one year anniversary. This is a little look at all their shoes as well as the one year anniversary A’s color snapback hat I was able to get my hands on. Only 100 made, so sick!

Once I got back to Greality, or Greeley as most know it, I swung by KIA to check out the cards I just finished up for their managers. It was a fun project and really cool to see a corporation stepping out and doing some more modern stuff. If you notice the $300 full print in Spot UV it’s because they’ve got a $300 referral program going on. So basically if you can get your hand on one of these cards and then head into KIA, you get $300 straight off your car. Sorry for so few pics from Cali, lots more new stuff coming from CO, Blacklist, and maybe even some limited BlueBeanie releases.

Greeley is in for the best thing it’s seen since the cow factory moving farther east of town. Blacklist is a new skate and snowboard shop that is moving in right across from campus. Literally, 919 16th St. Nate Giska is the man behind the magic and it’s going to be a legit shop on all levels, from brands, to shop lines, to employees, all taken to the next level. All the credit goes to Nate as this is a year in the works and he’s put all he has into making it happen for Greeley! Everyone hook him up, he’s got a slight addiction to DP Dough (as do we all now) and I think he deserves a few calzones for all he is putting into this skate and snow scene. Amazing guy, humble, and deserving of many many thanks.

Andrew is officially the best intern anyone could have. He’s knocking out projects left and right, getting everything done that needs to happen, and always without complaining. He’s such a great intern he even got his own designated spot with a fancy sign! (seriously he’s awesome though, everyone should bring him some taquitos from 7eleven for being so rad!)

Here’s my new high tech workspace with extra fancy to do lists. I’m set with my hot tamales (my favorite candy for sure!!), new macbook and the infamous blue beanie lurking. I’m honored to be a part of something so great coming to town and only wish I had more time to dedicate amidst all my projects. So get psyched, spread the word, and if you want some free stickers and maybe even a shirt, leave a comment, and email me for a time to swing by. Best blog comment wins a shop deck (on there way here now!)

I’ve got a new design up for voting at DesignByHumans. I’ve been on and off working on this for a while but finally was able to make some decisions to finalize it. Go check it out, leave a comment and give it your vote to help it climb to victory! You can see a more detailed version of just the design here.

If you haven’t heard of the fantastic company 410BC then you’re missing one amazing project! They’ve got an awesome community of artists putting out great work so you can stay steezed out and on top of or even ahead of the latest trends. They hooked me up with this sick shirt simply because they’re so nice! What a blessing. Check em’ out and get some stuff for yourself!

Crailslide
We had a chance to go session the Bonfire and Salomon Mini Ramp courtesy of their rad rep Anders. Always nice to see great tricks right in front of great product, especially a crailslide.
Anders FS Flip
It was a fun night for sure and quite the heavy crew of guys. Here’s Anders showing he can do more than just very convincingly sell you snowboard gear with a hefty frontside flip.
Frontside Melon
Lots of tricks went down, I only shot a few photos, but they can all be checked on out my flickr. Big thanks to Nate and Alex for holding flashes since I forgot my light stands! WOOPS!

Valentines Day brings so many happiness, others equal sadness, and for some it just means nothing. Trisha and I decided that for Valentines Day this year instead of going out, spending grips of cash, and doing the same routine you’re “supposed” to do, that we would just stay in and have some fun. So we set a few regulations for our day. We would spend it together, making something fun for the other person. That gift had to cost less that $10, and be relatively completable within that day.

If you don’t know, Trisha is an astonishing seamstress, so she brought over her sewing machine to construct this really rad flannel jacket for me. I on the other hand decided I would crochet her a beanie, which turned into a much longer process than anticipated… (I may not have finished) It was a really great Valentines Day and we had a blast being creative together.   Now I’ve got a super rad jacket and Trisha has… well a headband at least!
